The location was great, close to the beach. We enjoyed visiting Burger Theory nearby for a relaxing time. Our room was spacious and included window blinds, a kitchenette, and a King Size bed. We had a really good stay at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Newport News.

The room was a suite and was like an apartment. The bed was so comfortable. Everything was exceptional at this hotel. I was in town for a Hampton University graduation and the hotel is conveniently located which was only ten minutes away from the graduation site. If I am in the area again, I will definitely stay at this hotel and will recommend the hotel to others also.

Excellent location. Close to tons of restaurants, shopping, and easy access to the highway.
The hotel is under renovation so not in best of shape for our stay.

Sound proofed well did not hear interstate traffic even while being directly beside it.
We had to took a suite thinking it had pullout sofa. Had to get a cot. Room $100 more than standard. Room was not as clean as I would expect for that price.v

The location here was perfect and the services provided were friendly; I was pleased that it was only a 25-minute drive from the airport, and the rooms had king-size beds.

The king suite was nice size.
There were unattended children running everywhere. The pool was crowded with them as well. The lobby and elevator were hot and had a bad smell. No info on breakfast. Went in and sat down, no one came to talk to serve us so we left.

Wonderful hotel in a great area just off Norfolk
Good experience with very nice and helpful staff. Very comfy bed and brand-new, tidy room with a view of the rear. Convenient location close to an open-air museum
